The OneMytis 2 AirPlasma operates through gas ionization. The energy released, visible in the form of a strong glow, is called Plasma. Thanks to the production of Plasma energy, the tissue near the device electrode is vaporized without exploding the cells. During the procedure the tissue temperature doesn’t exceed 50 °C. This produces a hemostatic effect with simultaneous tissue ablation at a relative low temperature. The handpiece electrode does not come into contact with the tissues with a gap that varies from a few tenths of millimeter to 3 mm.
